Whether you’re driving a car, 4WD or motorbike, regular vehicle safety checks are critical to keep your vehicle moving.

Safety checks

Vehicle safety checks are more than just ensuring your vehicle turns on and moves. Our experienced and expert mechanics will review your vehicle – whether it’s a car, 4WD or motorbike to ensure it is in safe working order.

Brakes

We will check your brakes to ensure your vehicle is not showing signs of leaking fluid, faulty components or wear and tear. This examination will also include a review of your drain valves to ensure they’re ready to be operated.

Tyres

Your tyres are required to have a 1.5mm of tread and must be free of punctures or cuts. We will carefully inspect each tyre, as well as the tyre pressure to ensure they’re road-worthy and safe to drive on.

Engine and Exhaust

Our team will review your engine and exhaust for any signs of leaks, unexpected noises or emissions that could affect your vehicle’s performance.

Safety equipment

We will review your vehicle’s additional safety features including airbags, seatbelts, and electronic stability controls to ensure they continue to meet Australian road vehicle standards.

Pink Slips

Before a light vehicle can be registered in NSW, it’s required to complete a safety inspection report, better known as a pink slip.

A ‘light vehicle’ that our team can assist with includes:

passenger cars and 4WDs
vehicles weighing less than 4.5 tonnes with no power-operated brakes
trailers or caravans with an aggregated mass of 4.5 tonnes of less
motorbikes

If your vehicle is over five years old, you must get a pink slip annually to guarantee the safety of your vehicle.

Pink slips and safety checks are available at our Dubbo, Gunnedah and Parkes service centre locations.
